175 isn't a good score if you want CSE in top colleges. You surely need 200+ and much precisely 220 because there is no board percentage. So this time we can't say what's gonna happen. Everything will be changed. By this year's JEE Main we can predict next year results. So if you really wish to be in a top college and CSE then 220 is needed. I can simply give one tip to you. Know how to pick your answers. AJEE Main paper will be moderate. Expect 11 easy questions 12 to 14 moderate and 5 hard. Leave 5 hard but solve easy and moderate surely. Make sure that you solve 20 from each subject. And Bro, let me say you time is important. Chemis

The NIRF ranking of NIT KKR is 44, Whereas USICT is between 101-150. And also keeping the placements aspects of NITs in consideration, NIT KKR can be the best option for pursuing ECE. So go with NIT KKR.

With this rank, there are very less chances of getting a seat in any IIITs or NITs in case you belong to General Category. But still, with the benefit of Home State Quota, if possible, you might have marginal chances of securing a lower branch seat in lower IIITs or lower NITs. But the chances are less than 5%.

First of all, I would congratulate you for getting a good rank in JEE Mains. Well, there seems to be a slight miss-match with the general trend of ratio between OBC Rank 1338 to General Rank 48k but According to your data if the OBC Rank 1338 You can get top branches like CSE, ECE, EEE in top 7 NITs like VNIT, NITC, NITW, NITRKL, NITK or MNIT which is a very good thing! Whereas it might be slightly difficult to get CSE branch in NIT-Trichy as CSE branch in NIT-Trichy has the highest cutoff amongst all NITs but you can still aim for CSE Branch in any of these 7 NITs (except for NIT-Trichy). Now talking about IITs, you need to provide yo

With this rank, you should target for getting CSE Branch in IIITs or in NITs. You may not get a seat a CSE Branch in IIITs in JoSAA Rounds but you should definitely apply for CSAB Special Rounds. In CSAB Special Rounds, you have very high chances of getting CSE in Top NITs like NITW, NITC, VNIT, MNIT as well as Top IIITs like IIITG, IIITP, IIIT-Gwalior or IIIT Allahabad.

Considering your rank as well as category, you can get a decent branch in lower NITs or lower branch in Moderate NITs and only in JoSAA Round 5 or Round 6. If you want slightly better NITs with a decent branch like Mechanical or Chemical then you should register for CSAB Counselling. Please refer to the list of NITs according to NIRF Ranking and search out for a decent NIT and mark them in your choice filling for your CSAB Rounds. Good Luck for your Counselling!
