You can expect some lower NITs with lower branches also you have good chances of getting decent IITs with good branches so don't give up and participate actively in JoSAA.

No, you can not get admission into any college with your JEE Main rank, even under the Schedule Caste category without a home state quota. However, this is just an estimate based on the previous year's cutoff, and if seats are available for this year, you may also get admission at the National Institute of Technology and Indian Institutes of Information Technology. It also depends on domicile and gender. For more details, you may the Shiksha JEE Main college predictor. (https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor).

Hello, as per the latest updates of cutoffs as released by JoSSA, with a 1564 SC rank, you will not get B.Arch at NIT in Round 5. So far, the closing rank has been under 300 at most NITs for the SC category without home state quota. Therefore, you may have some chance in rounds 6 or 7 to get an NIT seat allocated for B.Arch but you will need home-state quota. For example, if you have a home-state quota of Himachal Pradesh, you may be assigned a seat at the NIT, Hamirpur, in Round 6. The closing rank for round 5 in this NIT is 1287 for HS quota. 140+ marks or 120 rank is more than enough to get CSE in Jadavpur University. For NIT Durgapur general rank within 10000 for HS Students and general rank within 7500 for OS Students is good to get CSE.

The JoSSA seat allotment process is currently underway, and with your percentile, you have a lower chance of getting NIT. You may get admission to select NITs, such as NIT Sikkim, with a home state quota. Alternatively, you can get admission to other engineering colleges such as:
1. Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute
2. Rewa Engineering College
3. The University Institute of Engineering and Technology
4. Madhav Institute of Technology and Science
5. Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology.
