The company fills the response sheet and sends it by e-mail/post to the Training and Placement Departments of the respective NITs. Once the details are received, the placement officer and coordinators get in touch with the company and a mutually convenient date is fixed for the Campus Placement process.

As per my knowledge, ICT Mumbai is a great knowledge centre for Chemical Engineering guys. On the other hand, it also depends which NIT your referring. NIT Rourkela, Warangal, Tirchi, Surathkal are also equally good.

For OBC, Generally more than 300 is sufficient to get into Nits but depends on which branch you want to get in. For CSE branch minimum 473, For ECE 352 etc. Hope this will help you. Thank you !
