You will surely get NIT college till last round of counselling irrespective of the branch I think. But If you want some specific Branch in specific college then There is less chance of getting it.

Hello Kiran, on the basis of ranking in JEE Mains, a student can seek admission only in NIT. For IIT, ranking in JEE Advanced matters. To help you I am attaching a link that will predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in JEE Mains. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.

Hello Madhavi, NIT and IIIT are on the same pedestal. Hence while finalising your choices during counselling, you ought to have given choice for any of the IIIT. If unfortunately itsleft out and you have been allotted NIT Durgapur then you have to accept it. You may appear for JEE Mains again next year and then you can get IIIT. Best wishes to you.

Hello Viswa, at the moment your available choice is only in your own state, since you have passed entrance exam. Hence my sincere advice will be to seek and get admission under this and start your college. However if you still desire to go to NIT you have the option of continuing your studies for passing JEE Mains in the next cycle of examination and then get in to NIT. Best wishes to you.
