You have not written about the category and home state you belong to. However based on your JEE Main category rank if you belong to to SC, then you can get the following in NIT Andhra Pradesh.
1. CSE
2. ECE
3. EEE
4. Mech etc.

Hello RK, if I may say so you have obtained the rank which is a bit on the lower side. There are approximately 50K seats on offer. 10% EWS quota means about 5K seats but your ranking in EWS too is about 13K. But do not loose hope. Admission process throws up many surprises. To help you I am attaching a link that will predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in JEE Mains. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.

I mean you are eligible but I don't think you will get into any NIT because cutoff goes high and you don't have enough marks for that.

For NITs, you need minimum of 75% in 10+2 and you need to qualify JEE Mains paper 2. For IITs you need minimum of 75% in 10+2 and you need to qualify JEE Mains paper 2 and 1 and then JEE advance and then AAT to be eligible.

Hello Sriram,
Change of branch is allowed after completion of first year and not first semester. Invariably those who wish to change branch get desired branch if they are high up in merit based on first year result. For details you need to approach the administrative staff of your college. Best wishes to you.
