With an EWS rank of 42670 and a CRL rank of around 2.67 Lakhs (approximately 81.90 percentile) in JEE Main, your chances of getting CSE branch at any NIT are moderate. It's too difficult to get CSE fir 81.90 percentile . One has to have percentile of at least 98 incase of general category.

If your JEE Main percentile score is between 70 and 80, your rank would be between 2,50,000 and 3,00,000. While this percentile may not be enough to get into the top NITs or IIITs, you can still apply to other famous government universities that accept this percentile range. Here's a list of universities for 70-80 percentile on JEE Main 2024:Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed University), AmbalaEstimated BTech course fee: INR 1.42 lakhs.SAGE University, Indore.
