The cutoff for general category students is generally tipped to be between 80-89. It is ideal to score above this mark or rank under 15,000 to be on the safer side and increase possibilities of admission to a top institute of the country. As far as cutoffs of NITs are concerned, if you want admission in top 10 NITs, then your rank should be less than 20k I. e. 175 normalisation marks I. e. 175 marks in JEE Main and 93% in CBSE boards. Candidates who scored 99 percentile in 2019 got ranks around 8,740. If you want admission in lower NIT's and North east NIT's then 95 percentile is needed. So here you do have the chances of getting NIT. But the same cannot be said for the popular streams of engineers as the seats for such popular streams like CSE, ECE fill up first. Best for would you to be contact the college website contacts to know your stats. In my suggestion, you also should book an alternative seat in another college because in case you do not get a seat of your choice at least you have a good choice elsewhere. Your expected JEE Main AIR is about 35007. While the last year closing rank at MANIT Bhopal for CSE was 8723 in special round-1 under home state quota for general category. Hence your chances are moderate here.
