Any of the NITs can administer the Common Entrance National Level Test (NIMCET) to applicants for admission to their MCA programme. Nine NITs—Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal—offer the MCA programme. The above-mentioned NITs' MCA programme admission for the academic year 2024–25 will be determined solely by the rank attained in the NIMCET 2024.
