A valid GATE score is mandatory requirement for M.Tech admission in NITs. So you need to qualify the GATE exam with high marks above 500 for admission here.

An 82 percentile in JEE Mains may lead to admission into some National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Institutes of Higher Education (IIITs). However, this depends on factors such as category, specific branch, and JEE Mains session. Cutoff percentiles are lower for categories like Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST), and may differ slightly for different branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Your percentile in JEE Mains 2023 is quite good, and it opens up the possibility of getting admission to several National Institutes of Technology (NITs) across the country. To get a better idea of your chances of admission to various NITs, you can check the previous year's cut-off ranks for your category and preferred branch. You can also use online tools like the JEE Main College Predictor to get an estimate of which NITs you may be eligible for. That being said, some of the NITs you may have a chance of getting into with a percentile of 92.7 include NIT Surathkal, NIT Calicut, NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, and NIT Rourkela.

A 90 percentile score in JEE Mains is generally considered good for admission into NITs for some branches. However, guaranteeing a seat at NIT Kerala specifically with a 90 percentile and OBC category is difficult. This is because several factors affect the admission cutoffs:Number of Applicants: The higher the number of applicants, the higher the cutoff for a particular NIT and branch.Difficulty Level of Exam: The difficulty level of the JEE Main exam can affect the cutoffs. An easier exam will likely have higher cutoffs for the same percentile score.Category Reservation: Seats are reserved for different categories like OBC. While thi
