While passing the JEE Mains exam with high marks can surely increase your chances of getting into a good NIT, attaining the 75% requirement is still necessary for admission to NITs. Competitive admissions are determined by a mix of JEE Mains scores and other eligibility requirements, such as board exam results. Your prospects will be based on the NIT's cutoff scores and the amount of seats available. To increase your chances of admission, it's a good idea to focus on your JEE Mains preparation.Hope This information will help youAll the best.
