The exact number of NIT graduates admitted in NITIE is unknown of as of now. But a large number of students from NIT as well as IIT join in NITIE. To be eligible for admission to NITIE, you need to have a BE/Btech degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% in 10th, 12th, and graduation (55% for reserved categories). You also need to have a GATE/CAT score, depending on the course you want to apply for. There is no minimum work experience required. For IT Branch you need a much higher Rank between OBC 2.2-2.7k.As far as IIITM Gwalior or IIIT Lucknow are concerned, you need to target OBC Rank anywhere around 5k, to secure a seat in CSE, IT or Other Courses at the Two Institutes.Considering OBC Rank 3.5-5k as a Standard, you need to secure a CRL anywhere around 16-20k in JEE Main, a corresponding percentile between 98-98.5, or a Target score of 150-160+/300 to hold chances of securing a seat at one of the Above 3 Top IIITs as well as Other Top IIITs at Guwahati, Pune, Sonepat, Bhubaneshwar, Vadodara, Kota, Sri City and many others, incase you get a lower percentile anywhere around

Hi there. The eligibility criteria for class 12 percentage was removed earlier due to Covid 19. But the criteria is back in place now. From 2023 for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), candidates are required to score at least 75% marks in their Class 12 board exams. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum required marks are 60%. Meeting this eligibility criterion is essential to be considered for admissions to these prestigious institutes.

Congrats on scoring 85 percentile! Yes, it is possible for you to get a seat in an NIT/IIIT near Tamil Nadu since you will have OBC reservation and female reservation as well. You can pursue BTech from these colleges. You should try for NIT Tiruchirappalli and Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirapalli.
