The eligibility criteria for admission to NITs (National Institutes of Technology) in India vary every year and are dependent on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the number of seats available. The cutoff for admission to NITs also varies for different categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST, and PwD. In general, admission to NITs is highly competitive, and the cutoff percentile for admission is usually around 90 percentile or above for General category candidates. However, the cutoff percentile may be lower for reserved category candidates. Based on the current admission trends, it

Hello Garg Telco, your ranking in EWS category is just about 9000 while your category in the main list is above 55000. This is quite good and I am sure that with this ranking you are bound to get admission in your desired branch and desired NIT. Predicting as to which branch and NIT one can get is a very tough preposition as there are many dynamics involved. To help you Shiksha has developed one college predictor for JEE Mains examination that will help you in predicting which branch and which NIT you are likely to get once you input your performance parameters into this predictor. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-p

The cut-off marks for admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) vary every year and are dependent on various factors such as the number of candidates applying, difficulty level of the exam, and availability of seats. However, based on your JEE Main score of 165 and your OBC-NCL category, it may be difficult for you to get admission in the NITs of Surathkal, Trichy or Warangal as the cut-off for these institutes is generally higher. To know your chances of admission in various NITs, you can check the previous year's cut-off marks. It is also advisable to keep a track of the official website of Joint Seat Allocation Autho

Based on your JEE Main CRL rank of 68250 and category as OBC, it may be a little difficult to secure a seat in Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC) branch at NITs or IIITM. However, you still have a chance to get admission to some of the NITs and IIITM, especially if you belong to the home state of Madhya Pradesh. To get an idea of the possible colleges that you may get with your rank, you can refer to the previous year's cutoffs for the EC branch in various NITs and IIITM. Congratulations on your JEE Main percentile score of 94.9865 in the SC category. However, admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) also depends on your class 12th performance, JEE Main rank, and the cutoff for the specific NIT and branch you are interested in. Based on your class 12th percentage of 64.4, it might be difficult to get admission in a top NIT for popular branches like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. However, you might have a chance of getting admission in less popular branches like Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, depending on the cutoff ran

Congratulations to your son on securing 96 percentile in JEE Mains! However, NITs and many other engineering colleges have eligibility criteria that require candidates to have a minimum percentage of marks in their 12th standard board exams. Typically, candidates should have scored at least 75% marks in their 12th standard board exams or should be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards to be eligible for admission in NITs. However, there is a relaxation of 5% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories. Since your son has scored 72% marks in his 12th standard board exams, he may not be eligible for admission in
