National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli course admissions offers a two-year MBA course. The aspirants should have a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score. Apart from this, candidates currently in the final year of the UG course and having cleared CAT are also eligible to apply. To be eligible, candidates must have passed Undergraduate Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% from recognised university. To get admitted to the MCA programme at NIT Trichy, students must have a minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent as one of the disciplines. Students who have completed a BE/B Tech or similar degree from a qualified university may also apply for this course. Candidates from the SC/ST categories, on the other hand, are eligible for a 5% relaxation. These candidates must acquire a minimum of 55% or 6.0 CGPA in their respective graduations. Candidates will be shortlisted for subsequent rounds of selection based on their eligibility.

Candidates willing for admission to MSc at NIT Trichy must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the course in the first place. Students who want to get admission to MSc at NIT Trichy must graduate with a minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (for SC/ ST/PwD, a minimum 55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA is required) in the respective subjects.  NIT Trichy offers various colleges and different exams are given by the candidates to get admission in a particular course. For, taking admission in the college the candidates need to give the national level entrance exam such as JEE, GATE, IIT JAM, CAT, and CCMT. Then, after clearing the exams candidates can check the merit list at the official website of the college after checking the merit list candidates can click on the admission tab and apply for counseling such as JOSSA, CCMT, and NIMCET and after that candidates can fill out the admission form and can pay the fees for securing their seat a the college.

 To get admission to M.Tech at NIT Trichy, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Aspirants need to be graduated with minimum 60% aggregate with BE/BTech from a recognised University. Admission is conducted based a valid GATE score.
