You have got exceptionally good marks in 12th and quite good marks in JEE Mains. Considering your category, I feel that you should get the branch & NIT of your choice.

For students from your category, competition is a bit less and hence, I feel that even though you have scored less, you have chances of getting admission in one of the NITs.

Firstly, you have scored less than qualifying marks in your board and hence, you are not eligible for admission in any NITs. Secondly, with the score of JEE Mains, you can perhaps get admission in only private college.

I am afraid you have scored a bit less. If you had crossed 200, then some chance in one if the NITs. What happened? You have excellent marks in boards.

So, you have to score 250+ to get seat there.
All the best.

Both the NIT's, which you have mentioned are well known. You should aim for 275 marks to get CS.

Being in OBC category, you can get admission with lesser score. But keep in mind that scores of OBC students are quite good these days. I think score of 250 should be enough.

As per the trends of previous years, you will need to score 280 and above for getting admission to college that you want. Every year levels are rising. please remember this.
