It entirely depends upon the cutoff of that particular year. But, a score of 250+ can give you an upper hand in this case.

To get admission in NIT, you should score a minimum of 200 marks in JEE Mains. To get admission in NIT, Trichy, you should score more than 230 marks.

I am sorry to say but our insitute has a minimum cutoff of 60% in academics. So, you can't apply even if you get good score in CAT.

DoMS, NIT Trichy accepts CAT score only.Cutoff score for previous year varied between 90-95 based upon experience level.

Yes, you can get through the top colleges because minimum eligibility criteria for MBA is 50% in graduation. So, try to score better scores in CAT, CMAT, XAT and MAT to get into these top colleges.

Your CAT score is of far more important than your previous academics. Generally, a fresher need to have 92-95 percentile and it will be relaxed if you have work experience.
