"NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech in Chemical Engineering. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:  The JEE Main score of the candidate The category of the candidate The number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released."

The cutoff trend for BTech in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the General category for all India quota was 10037. In 2022, it increased to 11032. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 16814 to 19315 for OBC, 66026 to 56969 for SC, 801 to 458 for ST, 14799 to 16173 for EWS and 303 to 334 for PWD. For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Civil Engineering was 23230 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission. Since the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 12165 and the closing rank was 16034. Th cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 19876 and 26484. Admission to BTech in Chemical Engineering in NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The placement statistics of NIT Trichy for Chemical and Mechanical are the best. So B.Tech Chemical can be the good option for NIT Trichy. NIT Trichy is the best option against the 2nd choice.

NIT Trichy collaborated with various colleges, universities, and industries. National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli has signed MoUs with various companies and industries. Some of the NIT Trichy collaborations are Steelmaking and Casting group of TATA Steel, Jamshedpur, DRDO / GTRE, Bangalore, Electro-Metallurgy division of CSIR CECRI, Karaikudi, Indian Space Research Organisation, India, Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory, Hyderabad, and others.

After that, qualified students must appear for the Personal Interview PI round conducted by the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli.
