The candidates can pursue Diploma in Mechanical Engineering immediately after their 10th entrance exam.
The entry to Mechanical engineering polytechnic course is either based on merit list or entrance exam.

I must say that you have scored quite well in session 1 of JEE Mains. However, you should continue and appear for the second round of exams with the aim of improving your percentile since which such improvement your chances of getting admission in the better Institute also improve. Placements: Metallurgical and materials engineering is a very good branch. We get a lot of free time as the subject is mostly practical. In GATE 2020, our college ranked 41 from the metallurgical department.
