We shouldn't compare between apple and orange. Both colleges are very good in terms of everything. In a particular year which college has the best students this college may top that year? Select your desired branch, go for any of it.

Different NITs have different fee structure. You can refer the official websites of respective colleges they have provided the fee details. If not of this year they are having of previous semester or year you can also refer those.

Hi Dinesh, Congrats as you scored good marks in JEE paper 2 but unfortunately closing rank in these both NITs is 1138 at round 3 and round 6 respectively. So there is less chance to get seat in these but don't loose hope. You may also get seat here if your luck helps you. Remember to stay in contact with both colleges for more details. Thanks.

In case he doesn't get his desired college, don't settle for some mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if he tries for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of NATA and some offer admission on the basis of both.
