As per the official placement brochure 2024-25 released by NIT Warangal, the average package offered during UG and PG placements 2024 stood at INR 17.63 LPA and INR 12.7 LPA, respectively. For Civil Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 89 students who applied to placements from the Civil department, 56 students were placed meaning 62.9 percent placement for Civil which is an impressive number. For Civil, the minimum salary offered was 3.2 LPA. The average salary was 6.5 LPA and the maximum salary was 11 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Warangal. Placements witness companies like Sobha Developers Group, etc. , and some investment banks like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc.

It ranks 9 in the list of top engineering colleges of India. It provides the much needed skill that is hands on experience and practical knowledge of how to use different kinds of chemical and they also research about them. In labs equipped with many chemicals. It is known for its great infrastructure faculty members with the knowledge and much-needed experience and better facilities like Wi-Fi, sports complex and labs with better equipment and machines. Yes, B.Com students can apply for MBA in NIT Wagangal. You need to clear CAT to get admission here. Minimum eligibility criteria for admission is 50% in Bachelors from any stream.

Hi, as NIT Warangal is a well established university compared to IIT-Bhubaneswar it has an upper hand in placements. But if you're looking for better resources, facilities, atmosphere and faculty, you should go for IIT.

Basically, branch wise civil is better or more preferred but if you want to pursue software jobs then you can select chemical as you are able to focus more on computer programming in chemical engineering.

In terms of placement, IIIT Hyderabad is the best among all. It is even better than many IITs in terms of CSE branch and also according to the placement.
