NLSAT exam is to be conducted once in a year only, as confirmed by the exam officials in the latest notification. Earlier, NLSAT exam was conducted in April, but from 2024 onwards the entrance exam will be conducted in March (of preceding year to the admission year) itself for concluding admissions on time. Therefore, NLSAT counselling process will be completed by May of each academic year.

NLSAT Exam 2025 is expected to be conducted on March 2025. The exam will be conducted in offline mode.  NLSAT 2025 will be held in a pen-paper based test mode. The exam will be conducted for 2 hour 30 minutes. NLSAT Exam 2024 have 75 questions for Part A and 11 questions for Part B.

There is no option to fill out the NLSAT 2025 application form in offline mode. Also, the candidate does not have the option to take printout of the online application form, fill it, and submit it at the admission office. Instead, the entire application process has to be completed online. So, to fill out the form, go to the NLSAT 2025 admission portal, click on the application link, and complete the application process.

The National Law School of Admission Test (NLSAT) exam 2025 syllabus has current affairs (Part A), Current Affairs (Part B), English Comprehension, Critical Reasoning ( includes logical reasoning and legal aptitude), and Legal Aptitude. The main subjects of NLSAT LLB 2025 for both parts of the question paper are as under: English Comprehension - 25 marks Current Affairs - 25 marksCritical Reasoning - 25 marks Legal Aptitude and Reasoning - 60 marks Analytics Ability - 15 marks

NLSAT 2025 Exam pattern is: Part A  consist of multiple choice questions concerning reading comprehension, current affairs, and critical reasoning. This section will be for a total of 75 marks. Part B is the descriptive section that will consist of two sub sections namely legal aptitude for 60 marks and analytical ability for 15 marks. The negative marking of 0.25 marks will also be implemented for every wrong answer.

The mode of examination is offline i.e. pen-paper-based test mode. The question paper pattern of NLSAT is divided into two parts i.e. Part A comprises 75 marks for objective-type questions, and Part B comprises 65 marks for subjective-type questions.

Candidates can pay the NLSAT 2025 Application Fee on or before the last date. NLSAT 2025 Application Form can be filled by visiting the official website; i.e. admissions.nls.ac.in, once it begins. Candidates must note that they need not have to attain any prescribed NLSAT 2025 age limit to take part in NLSAT Exam 2025. As per the official eligibility criteria of the NLSAT, there is no age-limit criteria for candidates to appear in NLSAT 2025 exam. However, it is mandatory for candidates to fulfill other basic educational requirements, to take part in the NLSAT Exam 2025.Any person holding a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised national or international University is eligible to apply to the programme. There is no age limit to apply to the programme.

The candidates seeking admission through NLSAT LLB 2025 must match the eligibility criteria as under: Candidates must hold/ appeared for a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised college/ university as approved by AICTE/ UGC or equivalent. They must have secured at least 45 per cent marks in agregate of all papers for the graduation degree.If they belong to SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC-NCL/ EWS category, then they must secure 40% marks in the qualifying degree.
