No, there is no direct admission for Indian students at NLU Hyderabad (Nalsar) for the popular undergraduate B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) program. Admission depends on the results of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). It is important to score good marks in the CLAT entrance exam. However, there is a direct admission process for foreign nationals to the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) program. You can find more information about this on Nalsar University's official website. You will get all the information, and you can also connect with their administration.

Results of the CLAT UG exam determine admission to NLU Hyderabad for BA LLB Hons. When applying for an LLM at NALSAR University of Law, the results of the CLAT PG exam are taken into account. To be considered for admission to the M.Phil Law programme at NALSAR University of Law, candidates must complete an admission exam and a personal interview.

Yes, NALSAR is expensive than NUJS.  Fees for NALSAR is around INR 7.95 lakhs while for NUJS it is INR 3.66 lakhs. NALSAR has great infrastructure and the faculty is also better there. Also NUJS receives a higher government subsidy when compared to NALSAR. Hence, its fees is a little lower compared to NALSAR. I hope that answers the question.

The Consortium of the NLUs plans to publish distinct CLAT 2024 cutoff scores for every counseling cycle in 2024. Experts estimate that this year's cutoff for the highest NLUs will be greater than 90 points. For the best NLUs, the NLU CLAT cut off percentage score is probably greater than 75%. To get admitted to NLU Hyderabad, applicants from the general category typically need to receive a score on the CLAT exam above 90. OBC applicants should strive to score more than 80 out of 120 in the exam.

Coming to this mostly non- NLU or lower NLU students prefer doing LLM from top tier NLUs in order to get NLU tag. But that isn't of great help unless you are going into the teaching line. Same goes for NALSAR where after taking the LLM degree you won't get any ostentatious placement. Rather working for a tier 2 or tier 3 law firm initially then moving onto a tier 1 law firm would pay off in a much better way.
