Yes, you can apply for BA LLB programme at NLU Assam if you have a percentage of 70 in class 12. The basic eligibility criteria for admission into NLU Assam as per the college norms is 45%. The criteria is as follows: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with above mentioned marks from any recognised board/council. Candidates who may be appearing for their qualifying examination in March/ April, 2024 are also eligible to appear. Candidate must submit result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) at the time of admission, failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission.

Moreover, CLAT 2024 is anticipated to take place on December 3 for NLUJAA admissions in 2024. The official college website currently has not released any information regarding the placement of LLM. Details regarding the placements of BAs and LLBs are available in the NIRF report. The placement information for the 2023 graduating class is still pending in the official site. On its official website, the institute has, nevertheless, made available the NIRF report for 2023. One BA LLB (Hons) student was placed at NLU Assam placements in 2021, according the NIRF report 2023. Additionally, INR 7.63 LPA was the median package provided to BA LLB students during NLU Assam placements in 2021.

Both the colleges has not yet released the details regarding the placement. 48 LLM and 96 BA LLB (Hons) students were placed at Nalsar University of Law in 2022, according to the NIRF report. During NALSAR University of Law placements in 2022, the median package offered to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM students was INR 16 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. During the NLU Assam placement in 2021, 1 BA LLB (Hons) student was placed, according to the NIRF official website report 2023. Additionally, INR 7.63 LPA was the median package provided to BA LLB students during NLU Assam placements in 2021.
