You can refer the latest law NIRF ranking. Older the NLU better it would be. Also you can give priority to the nearest NLU.

There is no change in preference list of NLUs, it is same as that of last year. Yes, you can apply for NRI sponsored seats.

Hello Mahima it's gonna somewhat difficult to get a seat in NLU since you've got 5000+rank and mostly you ain't gonna get an admission in government colleges so further you can try for private colleges. A gentle reminder based on your rank you can't get admission so easily there are very few chances if you belong to a general category. Likely you have more chances to get a seat if you come under reserved category.

Hello,
it's gonna be very difficult but generally, it depends on the number of seats offered throughout the India. So based on your rank it looks tough but you may be able to make it into NLUJA Assam, DSNLU Visakhapatnam, TNNLS Trichy, MNLU Nagpur or MNLU Aurangabad.

It is a moderate one, so generally, the students scoring around 1000-2000 ranks are preferable and get a seat easily at NLU
With that rank of yours, you can get a seat under the reserved category. Of course, you will get admission.
