The top 5 NLUs will be the best for better placements as all the tier 1 and tier 2 law firms recruit from the top 5 NLUs.
Thus, they have better placement stats based on last 5 years.

It's not necessary that every law graduate from an NLU will get a job for sure. You need to maintain a good CV and marks for campus placements. Alternatively, you may get self employed by practicing at a court of law.

For the last 5 years, the AILET cutoff for SC students has fallen within a bracket of 80-90.

All the NLUs offer a 5 year course in law thus even if you do B.Com you need to take up a 5 year law course only. Alternatively you make take admission after B.Com in a 3year law programme. As doing B.Com would serve no purpose as the NLUs will offer a B.Com as well along with LL.B.
