Admission to B.A LLB  programme in WB National University of Juridicial Sciences is solely based on the performance in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), currently conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. The eligibility criteria for each year may vary and shall be as determined by the Consortium of the National Law Universities. The Five Year Undergraduate B.A./B.Sc.-LL.B. Programme is open to candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an examination equivalent thereof. The admission is based exclusively on the performance in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)

WB National University of Juridical Sciences accepts CLAT (i.e Common Law Admission test ) entrace exam scores to get an admisson into it  other seats might be based on belowForeign Nationals Category Seats Admissions are based on as per the marks/grades obtained in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.NRI/NRI Sponsored Category SeatsJ&K residents Category Seats

Yes WBNUJS is more expensive compared to Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta and the fee structure would be appoximately as stated below :The WBNUJS Kolkata UG fee 2023 is INR 2,02,700 (for the first year). However, WBNUJS Kolkata 2023 fee for the PG course is INR 1,19,800 (for the first year). The university is offering BA LLB and BSc LLB as UG law courses.Whereas Faculty of law, university of calcutta fees for B.A LLB will be at around 87.2k to 3.2L

Yes it is the best college for Law students in Kolkata with very good infrastructure, excellent course content and the college offers very good connect with the alumni which is helpful to gain knowledge through thm and also to get internship and ful time oppurtunities and the college has a very good library which is the top most when compared to other colleges in kolkata

Referring to the last three years' CLAT cutoff analysis, NLU Kolkata cut off 2023 for B.A. LL.B (Hons) was closed at 260 where as in 2022, the closing cut-off was recorded at 251 and in 2021, the closing cutoff was at 241. Thus, the minimum cut-off for B.A. LL.B at The WB National University of Juridical Sciences 2023 is 260.BA LLB (Hons) was also the most popular course at NLU Kolkata because of the competitive ranks over the years as compared to other courses.

Yes, you can get into The WB National University of Juridical Sciences with 70% in class 12th as it satisfies the eligibility criteria. In order to be eligible for admission in The WB University of Juridical Sciences, one must have a minimum aggregate percentage of 45 in 10+2. However, the selection process accepts CLAT score, 12th CBSE, ISE and WBCHSE. So, your admission to The WB University of Juridical Sciences is subject to the cutoffs and seat availability of the target year.

Taking into consideration of last 3 years CLAT cutoff analysis, WBNUJS Kolkata cut off 2023 for BA LLB (Hons) closed at 260 while in 2022 with a slight difference, it was closed at 251 and in 2021 at 241. On the other hand, for LLM, NUJS cutoff 2023 closed at 787, while in 2022 it closed at 538  (R4), which is slightly lower than the previous year and in 2021 at 418.So, analysing the past year's trends, BA LLB (Hons) was the most popular course at NLU Kolkata because of the competitive ranks over the years as compared to other courses. Yes The WB Natioanl University of Juridical Sciences offers better placemnets when compared to Faculty Of Law, University of Calcutta . NUJS will provide 100% employment to its outgoing batches for the past few years. On the other hand, although many great lawyers, judges and associates in firms are alumni of Faculty of Law, CU there is a lack of alumni connect. So students have to put in a lot more effort for to get internships.  On campus placements are not held in CU, students face uncertainty as to employment.
