National Law University Kolkata, being a University of National importance since it's a NLU, offers great packages to its students be it in the BA LLB (Hons) or be it in LLM . Nalsar University stands behind NLU Kolkata (NUJS) with a great placement record over the years. In the year of 2022 NLU Kolkata placement stats were great with 96 out of 118 BA LLB students getting placed with a median package of 16pla. Out of 66 LLM students 44 students were placed with a median package of 7 lpa, which is respectable in itself.

As per NIRF report 2023, out of 82 students, 54 were placed during WBNUJS Kolkata LLM placements 2022. Earlier, out of 42 LLM graduates, 15 were placed during 2021 placements.
