National University of Study and Research In Law (NUSRL) Ranchi LLM course admission is entrance-based. The aspirants are selected based on CLAT scores. Candidates who meet the cutoff score become eligible for participation in counselling. Further, based on CLAT score and counselling, the seat allotment process is carried out.

Yes, NUSRL is a good university for LLM course aspirants. National University of Study and Research in Law, Rachi is ranked #22 in the NIRF 2024 rankings in the law category. The university also provide placements support to the candidates. As per the media reports, the overall the highest package in 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA. Moreover, as per NUSRL NIRF report 2023, the median package offered in 2022 was INR 6 LPA.

NLU Ranchi admissions for UG and PG courses opens with CLAT registration. CLAT applications are usually open in July and go on till October. Candidates have to apply for CLAT online. There is no deadline released for PhD course. Once the applications are open, candidates can apply for PhD on the official website of NLU Ranchi.

Students wishing to apply for scholarship at NLU Ranchi can download the form from the university website. Students from whom applications are not received within the stipulated time are not considered for award of any scholarship. Students must enclose the scholarship with income certificate (duly verified by CSC) disclosing the total income of the family/ guardian of the applicant.

NLU Ranchi offers three courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The university offers BA LLB (Hons) at the UG and LLM at the PG level. Candidates must complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Admission to both UG and PG courses is based on CLAT score. The university is also expected to begin BBA LLB (Hons) and PG Diploma programmes in the coming session.

Candidates need to pass LLB or a five-year integrated BA LLB/ any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for NLU Ranchi LLM course. Besides, candidates must also pass CLAT for admission in LLM programme. One must also hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

No, NLU Ranchi does not offer direct admission. Candidates have to meet the eligibility requirement and also pass CLAT for admission. Only after qualifying CLAT, aspirants are allotted seat in NUSL based on their rank. Candidates need to register for CLAT counselling for document verification and seat allotment.

Yes, NLU Ranchi considers CLAT score for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. CLAT is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities at the national-level in pen and paper mode. Aspirants meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for any of the CLAT accepting courses. One must score equal or above the CLAT cutoff for admission to NLU Ranchi.
