Yes, NLU Visakhapatnam have seats reserved for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. A relaxation of 5% is also given to these candidates in eligibility requirements. To get admission in a reserved seat, candidates are required to submit the category certificate issued by a authorised body.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University has a seat intake of 138 for BA LLB (H) course. The seat allotment is done as per the applicants CLAT score and cutoff. DSNLU also have seats reserved for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories. The university may follow the seat reservation policy of the state or central government. NLU Visakhapatnam BA LLB (Hons) admission is based on merit in CLAT exam. The course aspirants who have passed Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) can apply. Aspirants should visit the CLAT official website to apply for admission. After the entrance exam, the cutoff is announced. Candidates who meet the DSNLU CLAT cutoff mark can take part in CLAT counselling. After seat allotment, aspirants can report at DSNLU and pay admission fee for seat confirmation.

DSNLU offers PhD in full-time and part-time for three-years. The maximum duration to complete full-time PhD is four-years. Candidates applying for part-time need to complete the course maximum by six-years. In case, if the research is not completed within the maximum period of course for reason, the Research Scholar may be permitted for re-registration for another four years or six years as the case may be for extension of time for on the recommendations of the DRC with Full-time INR 30,000 for part-time and Executive INR 50,000.
