If you are not choosing LPU for MBA, make sure you are into Iims or the deemed government business schools of India. Moreover, I would suggest you go through NIRF rankings 2020 for B-Schools and plan accordingly. LPU has been ranked 50th. Also, spending more money on colleges has nothing to do with the quality of education. It has to do with the quality of their infrastructure (for private colleges). The eligibility criteria for MBA at LPU is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview. The cut-off for last year was 137 marks in NMAT for every category. But, it varies every year. You can also appear for the Thapar entrance exam and get admissions.

For last 23 years, the cut off for shortlist has been around 207209, with sectional cutoffs around 5556 in Verbal, 60 in Logical, and 7274 in QA. A score >210 will give you good odds a getting a shortlist, >215 is sure shot at shortlist. However, for getting admission, only NMAT score is not enough.
