Yes, it is always advisable to refer to at least two books for each section while preparing for the NMAT exam. This is helpful as candidates get a chance to compare the contents of more than one book. In addition, the language of books also matter. While person A might find Book 1 over Book 2 to be having a language simple to comprehend, person B may find Book 2 to be easier than Book 1. Additionally, candidates get a chance to cover more question variety from the wide range of practise material available with an extra book for preparation.

Official NMAT reference book, also known as NMAT by GMAC Official Guide, comprises a short description of the answer. Not all options will be right and the right answer will have a logic behind it. No, Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) does not change the NMAT syllabus every year. However, they do make minor changes to the syllabus from time to time make sure that it stays aligned with the latest trends as per the ever changing education systems. Yes, all questions of NMAT exam have a similar marking scheme. Candidates attempting MCQs in NMAT will fetch 1 marks for each correct response. For incorrect response, candidates are not marked negatively or positively. Additionally, the candidates are not scored for any question which was left unattempted while taking the NMAT exam.Questions across all three sections fetch equal marks if found correct or incorrect. Additionally, each section has equal weightage of questions. Therefore, no particular section in NMAT exam is termed important or less important. All three sections of NMAT exam have equal importance.
