GMAC administers the NMAT exam three times in a single MBA admissions session. The three exam takes throughout a testing time are made possible by GMAC. The NMAT exam window is between 70 and 100 days long. The test window usually starts in October and concludes in December each year. During the GMAC-specified exam window, candidates may choose to appear for the NMAT up to three times on different occasions. The applicant selects the participating NMAT colleges when filling out the application, and the best exam result out of the three is delivered to them.
