Yes, you can opt for NMIMS Mumbai with the percentage less than 50. 12th percentage is required for the admission in NMIMS if you have less than 50% in 12th, then sorry you can't get admission.

Counselling of NPAT-based admissions is an online and offline both that starts with the release of the merit list. Candidates selected as per the NPAT merit list will receive an offer letter from the participating institute. Based on the NPAT admission offer, candidates must fill out the admission form and the relevant documents. NMIMS will release a fee deposit notice for the selected candidates on verification of the documents along with the RTGS/NEFT details. Candidates interested in NMIMS admission must pay the fee before the stipulated date.

The expected cutoff of NMAT for MBA courses will be 94+ which is the highest among the NMAT entrance exam score card. Although the cutoff of the NMAT entrance exam is based on the following factors like Level of the exam, Total number of candidates appearing for the exam, Total number of applications received, and Total seats available in the course.

149 is a very low score. You need to score a minimum of 180 marks in NMAT exam to get admission in a good B-school for MBA. NMAT cut off is the minimum score required to be scored by aspirants in the exam for admissions into MBA and PGDM courses in NMIMS, its affiliated universities, and other top business schools in the country that accept the NMAT scores. The cut off may be released in the form of a score or percentile.
