The merit list number doesn't matter if your status is selected. Even if your number is 1100 and status is selected, your seat is reserved the day you deposit the fees. No matter what, once the fees are paid, you are officially a NMIMS student till you decide to withdraw.

In addition to these courses, there are five NMIMS Campuses namely- Mumbai, Shirpur, Navi Mumbai, Indore and Bengaluru.
NPAT 2017 was conducted across 32 cities stretching across 16 states.
We can conclude that it was very well spread across the nation.
Hence, a rough estimate would be around 80,000 to 1 Lakh students. However the numbers may have increased during this year.

Peer Learning:In my batch, around 80% students have corporate experience and as it is the case with other B-schools of India, most of the students are from IT industry. Having said that, at SIMSR people are pretty smart and one has to up ones game to contribute. (We are yet to take final trimester exams so I still dont know how hard-working my friends are.)

At NMIMS, you will get ample opportunities, be it working for a big time MNC, or be it an entrepreneurial journey, provided you grab them with both hands.
The quality of the curriculum and the faculty is top-notch. No compromise on that.
Now coming to placements, I will give you the true picture. Yes, you guessed it right, the placements arent what are shown in their placement reports.
