The admission requirement for B.Tech at NMIMS Shirpur includes the candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 examination conducted by any recognised central/ state Board. Such candidates must have taken physics, chemistry and mathematics as core courses. Besides, there are NMIMS-CET (Common Entrance Test) and JEE Main that the candidates have to take. However the cost of doing B.Tech from NMIMS Shirpur is about INR 12-15 Lacs for four years of programme and hostel facilities are also available. The course fee for a year goes up to around INR 2.5-3.5 Lacs per annum. However other charges like exam fees, library fee and hostel charges may vary from INR 50000 to INR 1 Lacs per annum. The university also has policies for providing scholarships to students according to their scores, the university can waives up to 25% of tuition fees. Each year, 20%-30% of students get scholarships. The university also offers education loans to the students with major links banks as well.

National Institute of Management and Science Shirpur popularly known as NMIMS Shirpur and Shivaji University are good institutes for doing B.Tech programs. However, NMIMS Shirpur has a tad better ranking as compared to Shivaji University. The highest percentage of students from NMIMS Shirpur get placement as compared to students from Shivaji University as NMIMS Shirpur has a tad higher placement percentage of around 80-90 percent as compared to Shivaji University's placement percentage of around 60-70 percent. Direct entry to B.Tech in AI & ML at NMIMS Shirpur will require candidates to have an excellent score in NMIMS NPAT (NMIMS Programs After Twelfth) or other entrance exams accepted by the institute. The college provides good placements, likely about 100 percent and the placements are from top companies. Companies that come for placements also provide packages for students; the highest offered salary is about 25 lacs, as I hear from seniors and the minimum is about 12 lacs. 100 per cent of students are placed here except for those who are willing to study for Masters. The highest package is 22 Lacs and the lowest package is 2.5 Lacs.
