Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Greater Noida is one of the premier Engineering and Management institutes, managed by City Educational & Social Welfare Society. The Institute is duly approved by the AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). According to NIRF 2020, NIET is ranked 49 for Pharmacy and is in the band of 201-250 among Engineering institutes in India.At present, the Institute offers nearly 36 programmes at UG and PG level. These programmes are offered in a number of streams, including Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Computer Applications. NIET admission process is conducted through UPSEE for all the courses and its application window generally opens in the last week of January every year.The Institute promotes innovation and start-ups by providing a platform for youngsters to create cutting-edge technology and enterprises through its NIET incubator. NIET also has a Pyramid Finishing School (PFS), where students are trained according to the industry requirements, not only in the areas of soft skills, life skills, technical skills and etiquettes but also, exposing them to time management, teamwork and project management. This process is initiated in the early semesters of the core programmes by blending it with their standard curricula. The concept has resulted in a steep increase in the employability of NIET students.
