Yes, University of North Bengal offers a range of scholarships and fellowships on the basis of merit or other criteria set by the university. Some of the scholarships are Research Fellowship in Sciences for meritorious students, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for SC/ ST, Emeritus Fellowship, Post Graduate Merit Scholarship Scheme for UG rank holders and more.

North Bengal University has 90 seats for  Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) courses. This UG level courses is for a duration of three-years. Eligible candidates can apply online thorugh the official website of the univeristy. Admission is granted on the basis of merit list prepared by NBU.

NBU offers MCA courses for a duration of two-years. For MCA admission, NBU accepts the candidates on the basis of WB JECA entrance exam.  The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for Computer Application, commonly known as WB JECA is the exam for admission to MCA courses. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the WBJECA every year for admission in the colleges of West Bengal. The WBJECA 2024 exam will be conducted on July 14, 2024.

Last date to apply for admission to NBU Distance Education for the academic year 2024- 25 is over now. NBA Distance Education offers UG courses such as BA, BCom and PG courses includes MA, MSc, MCom etc. The eligibilty criteria vary for each programme. For 2025 admission, Interested candidate can apply online through the official website of NBU by paying an application fee of INR 100.

NBU is a well known university for pursuing MA in English. Since the cutoffs are subject to change with respect to the seat availability and the year sought admission in. Therefore, it is advisable to visit the official websit for latest cutoff information about M.A. in English at NBU.
