NERIM is reputed for its MBA course in the northeastern part of the country. It imparts wholesome management learning with a judicious blend of theory and practical exposure. Generally, NERIM is a Tier-2 institution. It is recognised for quality education, particularly pertaining to management studies, and enjoys a good regional reputation. However, it does not find a ranking among the top Tier-1 institutions in India, which include top-rated IITs, IIMs and other highly competing nationally recognised universities.

The release date for the NERIM (North Eastern Regional Institute of Management) cutoff shifts every year depending on when admissions start.
