To apply, the students are required to pay application fee. International students need to pay CAD 100 as NIC application fee. The North Island College acceptance rate is 80%. A high acceptance rate means the college is not very selective in its admissions. International students are required to meet the eligibility requirements in order to get selected into the university.

Currently, NIC does not offer student accommodation on any of its campuses. Thus, international students need to arrange for accommodation before arriving in Canada.
