The NTU acceptance rate is around 22%, which makes admission competitive for students. Out of 100 applications received, only 22 are admitted to the university. It may be difficult for applicants to get into the university because of the high acceptance rate. Students are required to have a good academic profile with a qualifying GPA to get admission to the university.

Yes, NTU offers conditional admissions to those students who meet at least half of the eligibility requirements or to those students whose results are awaited. An international student is most likely to get a conditional offer for admission. The conditional offer means you need to meet some requirements before you can be admitted to the course. For example, you have achieved the required grades in your qualifications.

NTU does tend to accept applications that are two grades below their standard entry criteria; however, these admissions come with some conditions. Such students are given conditional admission offers. They are admitted into the course provided they achieve the required grades in their qualifications. Unconditional offers may be given to those students who have an exceptional portfolio or perform well in interviews.

The university accepts TOEFL,  IELTS,  PTE or Cambridge Tests as proof of proficiency. All international students whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate their proficiency in the English language. The English language requirement for you will depend on your country of origin. Therefore, international students are advised to look for the English language requirement for their country of origin.
