The NPAT exam is an entrance test conducted by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for admission to various undergraduate courses. The first merit list for the BBA course is prepared based on the marks secured by the candidate in the NPAT exam and the NMIMS Institute selected by the student at the time of the application process. The availability of seats in that particular institute also plays a crucial role in the preparation of the merit list. Candidates who clear the cutoff marks set by the institute and feature in the first merit list are eligible for admission to the BBA course.

NPAT counselling follows a three-round process to fill vacant seats. After the entrance exam, a merit list is prepared. Candidates on this list are called for counselling at designated NMIMS centres. If seats remain vacant after a round, a fresh merit list is created, and the process repeats. This continues until all seats are filled. To secure a seat, candidates must attend counselling on time if their name appears on any of the merit lists. Regularly checking the NMIMS website is crucial for staying informed about the counselling process.
