Yes, however, most of the topics included in the NPAT syllabus comprises topics that candidates have studied until their Class 12 level education. However, questions from sections such as Logical Reasoning will require candidates to prepare for critical reasoning skills. Most of the topics are from the 10th and 12th standard syllabus. With conceptual clarity, any test taker can crack the test with a high score.Primary focus of the candidates must remain on preparing for NPAT based on the syllabus prescribed by SVKMs NMIMS.

To answer questions from the critical thinking section, test takers need to work on decision-making and problem-solving. For decision-making questions, candidates will need to take into cognizance various rules/conditions as well as take decisions that are based upon rules/ conditions. While in problem-solving, candidates need to analyze the given information and condense all the information in a suitable form and answer the questions asked.

In the previous sessions of NMIMS NPAT exam, there was a section for General Knowledge. Candidates had toi answer questions from static GK as well as current affairs. However, SVKMs NMIMS do not have questions from GK section after 2020 exam session. SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam with as many as three sections. NMIMS NPAT exam is a gateway for admission to Bachelor courses from the following streams:CommerceEconmicsLiberal ArtsBranding & AdvertisingInternational StudiesManagementThe NPAT exam syllabus for all the streams mentioned above is identical. Yes. Candidates will have to pay the application cum examination fee for each attempt of the NPAT exam. Each exam attempt will require the candidate to pay an identical application fee. If a candidate is planning to appear for all three exam takes, he/she will have to pay the NPAT application fee three times the fee that would have been paid for a single attempt.NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam within a testing window of more than 100 days. Candidates have the option to appear for the NPAT exam up to three times during the testing window. NMIMS accepts the best of three scores from NPAT for admission to courses after Class 12.

Candidates have to pay the NPAT registration fee online. The online mode of NPAT registration fee payment can be facilitated via debit card, credit card, or internet banking modes. The NPAT registration fee is INR 2,000 for one school. For each additional school, INR 1,000 is added to the registration fee.SVKMs NMIMS will not transfer or refund the NPAT registration fee in any circumstances. Therefore, the fee must be paid only after the candidate is sure of all the details filled in the online application form.

As many as six b-schools participate in the NPAT examination process. These b-schools offer more than one course for admission. Candidates aspiring for admission can apply for all participating colleges and all courses based on the eligibility and NPAT scores. NPAT registration is facilitated in an online mode. Candidates can find the direct link to apply for the NPAT exam from the official exam website. The NPAT registration process is facilitated via the login account accessible from the first week of December. Candidates have to complete the one-time registration to access the NPAT login dashboard.NMIMS is yet to release the NPAT registration details.
