Hi Joseph! Thank you for the question. MBA at NSB is not just about the degree that you will be getting, it is an experience of a life time. You get to learn and experience so many things apart from your studies. You will have an overall development. You will definitely feel this change after few months of the commencement of the course. Hope to see you soon.!

NSB accepts all test scores. The basic qualification required is graduation in any discipline. In order to know about the CAT percentile and other test percentiles, you will have to talk to our admission officer.

Good question but I am not sure if we can really compare two B-Schools. I would be happy to respond, if you have questions about NSB.
Thanks.

Hi Sri,
Yes, the hostel follows strict rules and regulations as mentioned in the official handbook. The director of the college keeps a check on all the activities of the both the hostels (girls and boys) along with the other faculties. There is a register maintained by the wardens. Students are suppose to report to the hostel on/before 9.30 pm, any delay or absence should be informed in prior to the wardens and the hostel in-charge.
Hope this answers your question.

Staying in hostel is not compulsory. Many students opt to stay outside and NSB does not intervene in advising where they should live. So, it is your choice.
The class starts at 8.30 am and ends by 4.30 pm. But the timings vary at times depending on case study/simulation or industry lectures. So, you got to be flexible.

Placement is decent. The average salary is about Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum and the maximum is about Rs 9 lakhs. NSB provides paid internships for all students. There are a plenty of companies offering internships. Please refer to NSB's placement page on http://www.nsbindia.org/ for more information.
The best thing about NSB is that it is a typical B-School and follows a good mix of academicians and practitioners. As far as I know, the universities are dominated by academic people who are intense in theory and those programs are more suitable for people going to teach. The industry view is important for students looking for corporate jobs.

Hi,
Your chances are good. There can be a question about your degree percentage otherwise you are fine.
Moreover, weakness in one area can be compensated by being strong in another. That way your strong test score and marks of 10th and 12th can compensate for your degree percentage. So, go ahead and apply.

NSB has only PG course. In a way, it is better as all the students are of the same age group and come from 27 different states. As far as placements are concerned, good number of companies are seen on campus.
