Hello,
To get into acting and film industry, you must have knowledge of your desired fields such as, if you want to act, you must have training in acting from any reputed college such as SRPA NSD FTII SRFTI and many more, and there are other fields, as well to get into film industry like direction production sound editing cinematography, all these fields have proper courses. To get admission in NSD, you need to follow the entrance exam along with a screen test done by the NSD team, also there are other colleges as well who take direct admission for acting.

Students seeking for admission in NSD are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying. The eligibility criteria to get admission in NSD is given below:
Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university or college.
Theater Work: Candidates must have participated in minimum six theatre productions.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 30 years as or on 1st July 2018. Five year age relaxation will be prescribed for the SC/ST candidates.
Language: Candidates must have working knowledge of English and Hindi.
Three recommendations from theatre Experts.
