No, you generally cannot change your subjects after the final submission of your NTA application, but you can usually make changes during a designated "correction window" that opens after the application deadline, allowing you to modify details including your chosen subjects, if necessary; however, this window is only available for a limited time and may require an additional fee depending on the changes you make.

Yes, you can sit for the NTA NET even after getting your MA in English if you want to pursue a PG Diploma in Criminal Justice, but generally speaking, for taking the UGC NET Criminology Exam, a Master's in Criminology or other related subjects is a pre-requirement.Since your educational background is in English, you would want to verify whether the NTA permits candidates having a degree in a related field to apply for the Criminology subject. The NEET 2025 result is expected to be released in the first week of June 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. NTA does not announce the NEET result date in advance. Although last year the result date was stated to be declared on June 14, NTA released it 10 days in advance. Hence, there is no fixed date or schedule for NTA to declare the NEET result. Prior to the declaration of the result, NTA releases the final NEET answer key. Last year, NEET was conducted on May 5 and the result was declared June 4.

Candidate should note that for admission to Master’s degree programmes through entrance examination conducted by NTA, only the candidates having passed graduation with four/six (12+4/10+6 BSc Ag/BTech)/five years (BVSc & AH)/5½ years (BVSc & AH) degree programme will be eligible.

Yes. The authority released the UGC NET 2024 schedule for the December session. The UGC NET 2024 December schedule has been released on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The December session exam will be conducted from January 1, 2025 to January 19, 2025.

Important or relevant information about the NIFT 2025 exam will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address and/or through SMS on registered mobile number only. Also, the NTA will not be responsible for any non-communication/ miscommunication with a candidate in the email address or mobile number given by him/her other than his/her own.
