Hi Anindita, KGMU that is, King George's Medical University offers B.Sc. Nursing and conducts it's own entrance exam. KGMU is a reputed university where students struggle for admissions as it offers MBBS and BDS courses as well. The university comes under state government of Uttar Pradesh. According to the criteria of evaluation of the papers, most of the colleges do negative marking as the no. of candidates are more. Therefore in order to saturate the meritorious student groom the bulk, to have the best cream students in future colleges prefer negative marking. There are some institutions that do not do negative marking. It totally depends on which college you choose.

If you want to give entrance for B.Sc Nursing, you should study better in 10+2. So, class 11th and class 12h syllabus is better for it. God bless you.
