For admission to nursing programmes, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), in New Delhi, conducts a nursing exam. The admission test for the nursing programmes B.Sc. (Hons.), B.Sc. (Post-Basic) and B.Sc. (Paramedical) beyond the MBBS exam is conducted by AIIMS Delhi. Students get admitted to B.Sc. nursing programmes via a two-stage process. The first is via the recently developed AIIMS technique called PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration). The second method involves basic registration, which is followed by final registration and code generation.
