Maharishi Markandeshwar University, typically requires the candidates to face an entrance exam in getting admission into the B. Sc Nursing (UG) course. Direct Admission does not exist without entrance exams. Candidates will be evaluated on his aptitude in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and also English in the Entrance examination. Along with Entrance examinations, Eligibility criterion encompasses passing 10 +2 with minimum marks of 45% aggregate in related fields. For B.Sc Nursing, the following entrance exams are more commonly being used as entrance exams to take admission: The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) conducted by some institutes like AIIMS and JIPMER for nursing. Central universities conduct CUET for B.Sc Nursing admission to some.

Yes, boys also are admitted to the M.Sc nursing courses conducted by different west Bengal Universities /Colleges subject to them satisfactorily fulfilling the stipulated eligibility conditions, well most nursing colleges recruit applicants from both categories. Never forget, though to first check admission guidelines that various institutions put forward in those respective campuses.
