Both Srinivas University, Bangalore and RVS College, Coimbatore offer B.Sc. Nursing programs, but there are differences between the two institutions. Accreditation and Recognition: Srinivas University is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC). RVS College is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. Campus and Facilities: Srinivas University is located in the coastal city of Bangalore and offers modern facilities such as a library, labs, and sports facilities. RVS College is located in the urban city of Coimbatore and also offers modern facilities such as a library, labs, and sports facilities. Faculty and Curriculum: Both institutions have experienced faculty members, and the B.Sc. Nursing programme curriculum is based on the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council. However, there may be differences in the specific courses and emphasis on practical training. Fees and Scholarships: The fees for B.Sc. Nursing at Srinivas University may be higher than at RVS College. However, both institutions offer scholarships and financial aid to eligible students.

On the basis of the applicant's merit at the All India level, admission will be granted. The written objective test will be administered by the institute in February or March of each year. Interview calls for the shortlisted candidates will be made. The creation of a merit list will be based on the interview and medical fitness. The candidate must have earned a 10+2 Diploma and a three-year GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) Diploma. The candidate should have two years of professional experience. Male nurses who have not obtained a GNM Diploma are required to take a 6- to 9-month course that has been approved by INC in place of midwifery. The candidate must have received at least 50% in each course. The test should be passed on the first try. Or The candidate must have earned a 10th-grade Diploma and a three-year Diploma in general nursing and midwifery. The ideal candidate will have five years of professional experience.

The AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing entrance exam consists of a 2-hour long computer-based test. The test comprises multiple-choice questions from four subjects: Physics Chemistry Biology (Botany and Zoology and General Knowledge. The distribution of questions and marks is as follows:
Physics: 30 questions for 30 marks
Chemistry: 30 questions for 30 marks
Biology (Botany and Zoology 30 questions for 30 marks
General Knowledge: 10 questions for 10 marks
The total number of questions in the exam is 100 and the total marks are 100. Each correct answer carries one mark, and there is a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.
