OJEE is held in over 30 test cities in Odisha. The test centre allotted to candidates for the OJEE exam will be mentioned on OJEE admit card.  An applicant can select up to three test cities during the OJEE application process. They should choose the test city carefully as the request to change the test city later may or may not be accepted due to non-availability of seats at the centres in that particular city. No, the OJEE exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the OJEE exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. In 2021, the exam was however conducted in the remote protored test mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ever since, the OJEE exam has always been conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT). To take the exam, candidates have to visit the OJEE exam centre and take the exam online.They can choose upto three preferred OJEE test cities during the OJEE exam registration. Candidates must reach the test centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam in order to avoid any hassle on the exam and complete the frisking formalities at the exam GATE smoothly. 

Candidates can choose upto three OJEE test cities according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the OJEE application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates are allotted a test centre in second or third preference only if the seats have been filled or the exam centre has been cancelled at that location. Candidates should know that the OJEE test cities cannot be changed once the form is submitted even during the form correction window. 

Candidates will know their allotted OJEE exam centre only from the admit card. There is no way to know the test centre before the release of the OJEE admit card. The examination authority allots a test centre to aspirants in the city of their first preference as mentioned in the city. So, candidates can atleast be assured that they will get a test centre in the city they had chosen as first preference in the OJEE application form. However, the venue will be mentioned only on the candidate’s admit card. So as soon as the OJEE admit card is released, candidates must check the test city and test centre details. In order to avoid any confusion, they must visit the centre at least once before the exam day.

During the OJEE registration process, candidates need to select their OJEE exam centre. The candidates can choose upto three OJEE exam centres  for the OJEE exam centre allotment. Candidates should choose the test centres in the order of their preference, as they cannot be changed after the OJEE exam application form submission.
