OJEE eligibility criteria are the requirements for appearing for the OJEE exam. OJEE scores are accepted in over 40 top B-schools in the country. The OJEE eligibility criteria are prescribed by the OJEE Cell, which is the OJEE exam conducting authority. The minimum requirement or eligibility criteria for appearing for OJEE is graduation. The basic OJEE eligibility criteria include:Age Limit: There is no age bar for the candidates appearing for postgraduate courses, however, candidates appearing for BAMS/BHMS or Pharma must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31Nationality: Candidates appearing for OJEE must be a citizen of India. If they wish to take admissions to government colleges in Odisha then the candidates must be a native of Odisha. Minimum Educational Qualification: For undergraduate courses, the candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board. As for postgraduate courses, the candidate must hold aDiplomaorBachelorsdegree from a recognized university or institute from a relevant stream.Work experience: OJEE exam eligibility criteria do not include work experience. Students who wish to participate in the OJEE counselling must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria. 1. Candidate must have completed at least 17 years of age 2. Candidates who wish to participate in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified in NEET (UG) with a valid rank 3. Candidates' parents should be a native of Odisha state. 4. Candidates have to present the Resident/Nativity Certificate during document verification 5. Candidate must have scored 50% aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 for General category candidates. The minimum aggregate for SC/ST is 40%. 6. Also, the candidates must have passed English Physics Chemistry and Biology subjects individually.

The OJEE Board releases the OJEE 2024 counselling notification online on the website, OJEE. Nic. In. Candidates who qualify the OJEE exam will be eligible to participate in the OJEE counselling process. The qualifying candidates have to complete the OJEE counselling registration online once the registration window opens. The registration process for OJEE counselling comprises registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the nodal centre. The authority will release OJEE counselling 2024 schedule online. OJEE 2024 counselling started on June 19, 2024, for the Lateral Entry courses. The registration window will be open for approximately a month and the students can lock their choices and get the document verification done after the final seat allotment process is complete.

The OJEE counselling process will be conducted for admission into different courses in the Odisha state. Students will have to fill the online application form in which they have to fill the college or courses of their choice. Candidates who wish to take part in the OJEE counselling process, need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 450. Along with this, students will have to present original documents at the time of document verification at the nodal centers. Candidates will be allotted the seats provisionally and courses at first round of counselling. After the final seat allotment, students will have to pay the part admission fee of 10,000 or INR 5,000, based on the category online.

OJEE counselling is five-step process. Candidates who appeared for OJEE JEE Main NEET or other qualifying entrance exam can take part in the OJEE counselling process. The steps are as under:
Step 1. Registration- All the rank holders need to register on the official website by filling in details such as application number, name, gender, course, ranks, marks and date of birth and submit the form and pay the registration fee. Step 2. Choice Filing and Option Locking- After fee payment, students can fill in choices from the list of participating colleges for their selected courses and specialisation and finally lock their choices by freezing and waiting for the seat allotment list. Step 3. Announcement of Seat Allotment- OJEE board releases a seat allotment list for colleges available based on choice filled by candidates and a merit list/rank list
Step 4. Document Verification- For confirming their seat at the allotted college/s, candidates should provide documents of eligibility required for the course and also upload the original documents verified and submit a copy of all the documents online. They also need to pay part admission fee. Step 5. Admission Confirmation- After document verification, candidates need to report to the allotted colleges and submit documents and pay the remaining admission fee after the final allotment round.
